Nicolae
Lengher is a journalist and he graduated from the University of Bucharest. He has a great
experience as a cameraman and editor on 16 mm. He is also a great caricaturist for the written media,
and in this quality he has taken part in many national and international seminars. He has also wrote
sceneries and directed many documentary and short-reel films, awarded at various film festivals.
He has guided creative activities and the film culture in cineclubs. He organized the short-reel
film festival "Ecran 5". During the last 8 years he has made a lot of
advertisements for local TV channels and worked as a scenarist and documentary film director for
independent studios.
Cosmin
Tiglar graduated from The Politechnic University of Timisoara. During his university
years he worked as a reporter for a radio local channel and made many short-reel film projects.
After graduating he started to work as a cameraman and editor in a production studio, then as a
producer for a local TV channel. Afterwards he dedicated himself to documentary film production for
independent studios. He won several awards and participated in international festivals. He made
the photography and the cutting for notable film projects such as: "Traveling trough the Country of
the Eclipse", a series of 16 episodes, made for the national TV channel, "Seven Stories from the Other
Side", a documentary film about the Romanian folkloric beliefs, made for Mediafax
Television.
Dan
Ratiu is a film director. He graduated from the Academy of Theatre and Film in 1992.
During his university years he made many short-reel films, both fiction and documentary films, awarded
at national and international festivals: the Great Award, "Karlovy Vary" Film Festival, 1996, and
Costinesti 1993, direction award, Costinesti, 1996, and special award, Dakino, 1996.
Dan Ratiu is one of the managers of the TVR Timisoara channel. Many of his documentary films were and
are still broadcasted on it: "Timisoara, the Little Vienna" (The great Award of the Televest Film
Festival), "The Glass Frontier", "They Called Them the Frontier People" and "Somewhere in Europe", the
travel series Banatic Itineraries. He is also the executive producer of the documentary series
"Step by Step" and of the monthly TV program "Timisoara Meridian" broadcasted on the TVR International
channel.
